Executive tapped to lead licensing and legal strategy to support
RevJet’s explosive growth
SAN CARLOS, Calif. — April 6, 2022 — RevJet, the only unified app-based platform that simplifies all aspects of digital ad experience management for Fortune 500 marketers, today announced Jacob Craft has joined the company as General Counsel and Chief Administrative Officer. The SaaS industry veteran chose RevJet over half a dozen companies pursuing him at the time of his hiring.
In his new role, Mr. Craft will oversee all aspects of licensing, strategy, and compliance. Craft’s experience creating new, world-class go-to-market licensing programs for a variety of innovative software offerings – including building licensing frameworks for solutions sold via a software as a service (SaaS) model – aligns perfectly with helping RevJet enable the scalability and repeatability of its licensing model.
“RevJet’s technology is the best in the industry, and I am excited to be part of its growth," said Craft. "There is a real opportunity to help companies derive the most value from their customer experiences, and drive digital transformation with a simple, low-risk, subscription model."
Before joining RevJet, Craft spent nearly 10 years at Epic Systems, the world’s leading electronic medical records software platform, where he was repeatedly named lead counsel on some of the health care software industry’s most important new product launches. Craft was assigned lead counsel in charge of building and launching Epic’s first ever cloud software solution, enabling Epic to compete with newer SaaS offerings. Epic turned to Craft again as lead counsel for its Epic App Orchard launch team, where he co-developed and helped roll out what today is the electronic medical records industry’s leading integration and API licensing platform.
Later, Forte Research Systems brought Craft in as Associate General Counsel, where he was responsible for licensing, compliance management and a wide range of other activities in connection with helping private equity investors achieve a successful sale of the company just 16 months later.
In his most recent role, Craft served as outside counsel for RevJet before joining the RevJet team as their in-house counsel.
"Jacob is a world-class SaaS licensing expert. He truly understands the value of RevJet’s platform and the importance of helping companies solve their digital customer experience problems,” said Mitchell Weisman, RevJet founder and CEO. “We’re thrilled and proud he chose RevJet over the multiple job offers he fielded during our discussions.”
